Consilium Recruit is exclusively partnering a leading engineering & manufacturing group who specialise in innovative solutions & products to the EV and clean energy sectors.  Due to growth they have a new vacancy for a HR Manager, joining at a time of rapid expansion and investment, you will be tasked with implementing new processes, working with department managers to ensure best practice and supporting the organisation through change and growth.  Candidates must have worked at a HR Management level and will ideally have worked in a high tech, manufacturing, or engineering environment.

 

Location: Remote  

Salary: Dependant on experience  

Suitable For: HR Manager, Human Resources Manager, HR Business Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, HR Director, Human Resources Director 

 

The Role

Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required.
Monitor and review employment contracts, HR Policies and Procedures, and Staff Handbook.
Supporting and mentoring managers with all aspects of people management and advising them on HR policies.
Supporting progressive organisational change and ensuing effective employee communication.
Managing end-to-end processes and driving continuous improvement to give a great customer experience and improve efficiency.
Supporting and managing any employee relations issues, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation.
Developing robust induction, recognition, and retention processes / activities.
Facilitating the appraisal process and ensuring that all training and development needs are met for all employees.
Managing the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, executive, and professional roles.

 

The Candidate 

In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and pending changes.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced engineering or technical environment.
Previous experience setting up new policies and processes.
A proven track record of building strong relationships across all levels of a business.
Proficient in IT systems, including the implementation of new HR business applications.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to solve problems and identify pragmatic solutions.
